Since 1880, Collins Bakery has been part of everyday life in Youghal. What started as a merchant supply store founded by John Collins has grown and changed with the times, passing through four generations of the Collins family. Each generation has brought something new, evolving the bakery while keeping the same values at its heart: good food, familiar faces, and being part of the community.
For many people, Collins is part of their story. It’s the sandwich picked up on the way to school, the chat at the counter, the cake shared around a family table, or the centrepiece of a special occasion. We’re proud to have played a small part in those everyday moments for generations — from traditional favourites like Christmas puddings, mince pies, rich Christmas cakes and brack, to the fresh bakes and treats our customers enjoy today.
While our roots run deep, we’re always looking ahead. Today, Collins Bakery brings together the best of the past and the present — traditional recipes, fresh ideas, and a team passionate about making great food every day. From our French pastry chef’s freshly made cakes, deli sandwiches, breads, and pastries, everything is prepared with care.
